About the Role
We are partnered with an AI-native business looking for a hands-on General Counsel who wants to build something from the ground up—not inherit a fully formed legal function. The successful candidate will thrive in a high-growth, fast-moving environment and be excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of Legal within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company's legal function, acting as a trusted adviser to the executive team.
- Negotiate a high volume of enterprise SaaS and commercial technology agreements.
- Advise on AI regulation, governance and the evolving global regulatory landscape.
- Lead on data privacy, compliance and broader legal risk management.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales and Operations to support product development, customer growth and international expansion.
- Build scalable legal processes, templates and governance frameworks as the business continues to grow.
