Supply Teacher (Primary and Secondary): Plymouth
Are you a qualified teacher seeking flexibility, variety, and a better work:life balance? We are looking for an adaptable, high:energy General Cover Teacher to join our team, delivering day:to:day cover across partner schools in Plymouth. This role is ideal for experienced teachers who want to spend their time teaching rather than marking and planning, or early career teachers looking to gain broad classroom experience in local schools.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre:planned lessons across various subjects and year groups, ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment using effective behaviour management strategies.
- Follow individual school policies, safeguarding guidelines, and daily routines.
- Leave detailed handovers for returning class teachers at the end of the day.
- Be available for local morning bookings to start by 8:30 AM.

Qualifications
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential for this role.
- Strong classroom management skills and the confidence to step into new teaching environments.
- High adaptability and a proactive approach to day:to:day changes.
- Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness for one).
- Full right to work in the UK.
What we offer
- Location: Plymouth, Devon
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Pay Rate: GBP130 - GBP160 per day (dependent on experience)
- Contract Type: Day:to:Day Supply / Flexible Work
- Work:Life Balance: Leave work at 3:30 PM with zero planning or marking commitments at home.
- Flexibility: Work as many or as few days a week as fits your schedule.
- Weekly Pay: Competitive daily rates paid weekly via PAYE.
- Local Placements: Short commute times tailored to your availability within Plymouth.
