We are currently recruiting an experienced General Foreman to join a major infrastructure project in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire

This is a safety-critical role offering a long-term opportunity for an experienced supervisor with a strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure works.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, supervising subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate site activities, monitor progress against programme, carry out site briefings, maintain accurate records, and ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures while promoting a strong safety culture across the workforce.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid SMSTS qualification, a CSCS and have previous experience supervising teams on large infrastructure or civil engineering projects. A Safety Critical Medical is essential, and candidates must be willing to comply with site drug and alcohol testing and all site safety procedures. A First Aid at Work qualification would be advantageous.
