General Foreman – Civil Engineering
Build Projects That Shape Scotland
Are you an experienced General Foreman looking for your next challenge with a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across Scotland?

What You'll Be Doing
As a General Foreman, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of civil engineering projects, leading site teams while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing day-to-day site operations and supervising subcontractors and direct labour.
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.
- Coordinating with Site Agents, Engineers, and Project Managers to maintain progress.
- Promoting a strong health and safety culture across site activities.
- Monitoring quality standards and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Supporting the planning and organisation of labour, plant, and materials.

What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with experienced General Foremen who have:
- A background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to site management and problem-solving.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and productivity.
- Flexibility to work across projects throughout Scotland's Central Belt.
