General Insurance Adviser (GI Adviser)
Brook Financial Services | Remote or hybrid | Full-time, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday | Competitive basic salary plus commission
Brook Financial Services is Mortgage Advice Bureau's largest appointed representative and part of The Property Franchise Group, the UK's largest multi-brand lettings and estate agency group.
What sets this role apart is where your opportunities come from. Referrals come from Brook's own network of mortgage advisers, so you'll speak to clients who are already buying or remortgaging a home and need cover in place. No cold lists and no chasing strangers.
We're looking for a customer-focused, commercially aware GI Adviser to join the team, focusing mainly on home insurance. This is a sales role. You'll own converting opportunities and hitting targets, supported by a large, established group.

About the Role
You'll help clients find suitable cover for their homes and belongings, provide clear, accurate information, and build long-term relationships that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage proactively with referred clients through outbound calls, follow-ups, and relationship building.
- Explain insurance products, policy terms, cover, and exclusions in a clear, easy-to-understand way.
- Deliver accurate quotes and handle inbound and outbound calls and emails.
- Process applications and complete all required client documentation.
- Build strong working relationships with Brook's mortgage advisers to make the most of every referral.
- Work closely with providers and Business Development Managers to ensure a smooth client journey.
- Keep up to date with products, regulatory changes, and market developments as part of ongoing CPD.
- Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and company processes.

About You
- Experience in general insurance is preferred, ideally from a broker background. We'll also consider candidates with a strong sales or customer service track record.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Highly organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail.
- Confident with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- A positive attitude towards learning and development.
