Job Description
Dowling & Cosh Ltd are a small Mechanical and Civil engineering company, Established in 2013 and based in the South West, specialising in projects within the water utilities sector.
We are looking to expand our team within the following position, as we enter an anticipated and sustained period of growth.
General Labourer – reservoir refurbishment
Requirements for the role:
- You must be hard working, motivated, reliable and enthusiastic, ideally with a civils background or knowledge of civils work within the water or building industry.
- Driving licence is essential.
- CSCS card.

Your key responsibilities:
- The improvement and maintenance of potable water infrastructure.
- Minor civil works, including but not limited to, plant operations, concreting, chamber building and pipe laying.
- Confined Space work.
- Complying with company policy, procedures and adhering to all health, safety, and welfare obligations of yourself, of all colleagues and members of the public.

The following qualifications are desirable but not essential as training can be provided:
- EUSR – National Water Hygiene
- Confined Space – Medium Risk
- Plant Operator
