Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site General Labourer role based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The General Labourer will support refurbishment and construction activities by performing manual tasks such as site preparation, loading and unloading materials, and assisting tradespeople as required. Duties include:

- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Following health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a site team to meet project deadlines
- Adhering to instructions from site supervisors and managers
- Reporting any issues or hazards promptly

The role involves working in various outdoor conditions and on different sites across the region, contributing to the timely and quality completion of refurbishment projects.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting, carrying, and operating basic hand and power tools.
- Basic understanding of construction or refurbishment site operations and willingness to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Commitment to health and safety practices, including proper use of PPE and adherence to site safety protocols.
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality, flexibility to work across different sites, and readiness to work in varying weather conditions.
- Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work respectfully alongside colleagues, contractors, and residents.
- Previous experience in general labour, construction, or property refurbishment is beneficial but not essential.
- Valid right to work in the UK; CSCS card or similar site safety certification is an advantage.
- Full, clean driving license is desirable for travel between sites.
