About us

Mako Precision Engineering is an ISO 9001 registered CNC machining firm based in the West Midlands, famous for its manufacturing heritage. Mako was formed by a group of skilled engineers who for many years worked for a very successful precision engineering company. The team that provided the driving force behind this success now owns and operates Mako Precision Engineering Ltd.

We are a group of trained and experienced precision engineers offering CNC machining services including CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Drilling, Threading, and Assembly services to customers in a wide range of industries, including toolmaking and patternmaking, motorsport components, agricultural equipment, automotive, rolling mill components and parts for the hydraulics industry.

Mako Precision Engineering Ltd is a stimulating and challenging place to work and this is an excellent opportunity to work in a small but busy team. As a member of the team, you will be required to carry out general day-to-day tasks such as sweeping, tidying and general housekeeping of the shop floor, canteen and hallways. Also making local and national deliveries and collections as far as 170 miles, operating the forklift to load and unload wagons.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
