General Handyperson/Grounds Person – Regents Park Barracks, London
Location: Regents Park Barracks, London
Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour
Hours: Permanent, full-time (37 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30–16:30
We’re looking for a General Handyperson/Grounds Person to join our team and help maintain Regents Park Barracks with efficiency and pride. Ideal for those with hands-on experience, this role is at the heart of ensuring smooth operations and exceptional site presentation.

Responsibilities
- Waste management:
- Collect, remove, and dispose of dry refuse across the barracks and surrounding sites.
- Transport waste safely from storage locations in compliance with disposal guidelines.
- Maintenance & labour:
- Carry out tasks including moving furniture, assembling flat-pack items, and general manual work.
- Distribute equipment and cleaning supplies to needed areas.
- Cleaning support:
- Provide litter-picking services in external grounds.
- Assist the facilities team in handling task as directed.
- Storekeeping:
- Maintain stock of cleaning materials.
- Perform inventory checks and compliant storekeeping duties.
Requirements

- Must have held UK residency for the past 5 years.
- Right to work legally in the UK confirmed.
- Ability to successfully pass:
- Full security clearance/vetting
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
