We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Maintenance Engineer to be based in Middleton M24.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repair work across our operations, with a strong working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • The role involves delivering a full schedule of works, on time and to budget.
  • Carry out general maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and plumbing issues.
  • Respond to maintenance requirements across various sites.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • To ensure all daily planned and routine work is completed in a safe manner, causing minimum downtime and preventing business disruption.
  • Undertake national travel as required.
  • Maintain a professional approach when representing the business at customer and operational sites.

Skills And Experience

  • Experienced in general maintenance within a commercial or industrial environment.
  • Competent with electrical and plumbing work.
  • Practical, hands-on and able to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
  • Flexible and willing to undertake national travel.
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence required.
