General Manager

Manchester

Package from £55,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Lead One of Manchester's Most Exciting Hospitality Venues

We're recruiting for a General Manager to join one of the most respected and successful hospitality businesses in Manchester.

This is genuinely a fantastic company to work for. Built around great people, exceptional hospitality, and high-quality food and drink, they've developed an outstanding reputation for creating venues that guests love and teams are proud to be part of.

With continued investment, strong leadership, and a culture that promotes development and progression, this is an opportunity to join a business where people stay, grow, and build long-term careers.

The Role

As General Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a busy and successful venue, leading a large team whilst driving standards, guest experience, and commercial performance.

This is a high-volume environment, and we're looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced operations whilst never losing sight of quality. You'll be equally comfortable leading from the front during peak trading periods and analysing business performance to identify opportunities for growth.

You'll work closely with senior leadership and have genuine influence over the success of the business, developing your team and creating an environment where both guests and employees have an exceptional experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
