As a General Manager, you'll take ownership of an operation, leading teams through change, delivering against customer expectations and ensuring the highest standards of safety, service and financial performance. What You'll Do On a Typical Day
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across a logistics operation
- Lead and develop high-performing management teams, creating an environment where colleagues can thrive
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement
- Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Take ownership of operational performance, service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Lead change and improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency and colleague engagement
- Manage budgets, resources and operational costs to ensure commercial success
- Use data and operational insight to make informed decisions and drive performance
- Create clear succession and development plans to support future talent across the business
- Ensure all legal, regulatory and company compliance standards are maintained

What You Need To Succeed At XPO
- Experience leading large operational teams within logistics, supply chain, transport, warehousing or distribution environments
- A proven track record of delivering operational and commercial results
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach and develop others
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders, including customers and senior leaders
- The ability to drive change, challenge the status quo and continuously improve performance
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, KPIs and operational targets
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A passion for creating safe, inclusive and high-performing working environments
