General Manager

Location: Belgravia

Job Type: Full-time

You'll be responsible for leading your café, driving commercial performance, developing your people, and ensuring every customer receives the warm, genuine hospitality that Hagen is known for.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading, inspiring, and developing a high-performing team.
  • Creating an outstanding customer experience every day.
  • Driving sales, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Managing rotas, labour, payroll, and store budgets.
  • Recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing your team.
  • Coaching and supporting team members to reach their potential.
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of coffee quality, food safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
  • Managing stock, ordering, waste, and inventory.
  • Building a positive, inclusive, and engaging team culture.
  • Using business insights and KPIs to continuously improve performance.
  • Working closely with your Area Manager to achieve business objectives.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience leading a high-volume hospitality or retail team.
  • A passionate and people-focused leader who leads by example.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence managing performance, recruitment, and employee development.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays when required.
