What’s the role?

General Manager

What is Uncommon?

Uncommon is a group of exceptional work spaces across London that cultivates an environment with sustainability and wellness at its core. Our members are the forefront of what we do, providing personalised service to each and every one.

What will you be doing?

The General Manager is accountable for the full performance of Uncommon Holborn, our largest building. They lead the site team, build strong relationships with enterprise members and external stakeholders, and run the building safely, smoothly and sustainably, with member retention as the core goal.

Member retention and enterprise relationships:

  • Own retention and tenure across the building.
  • Build regular, senior relationships with enterprise clients, understand their plans for growth and act early on renewal risk.
  • Be the main point of contact for all members, oversee onboarding and offboarding, and act on NPS and survey themes.

Operations:

  • Constantly raise standards and improve the building and its facilities, working with the Operations Manager and central Facilities team on maintenance and planned preventative maintenance.
  • Keep the site presentable and ready for members every day and support the F&B Manager and Events team so that daily F&B and member events are delivered safely and to company standard.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
