Join Fuller’s: Where the true you thrives and diversity is embraced. At Fuller’s we don't just offer jobs, we invite you to celebrate your authentic self. Our four core values – doing things the right way, being part of the family, celebrating individuality and always asking what’s next? – define the essence of who we are.

A fantastic location in the heart of Pitshanger, a spacious garden, private event spaces, a premium food and drink offer, and a loyal local catchment make it a business with enormous potential.

What we're looking for now is the right General Manager to bring it all together. This is an opportunity for a passionate, customer-facing leader who wants to roll their sleeves up, lead from the front, and put their own stamp on the business. Someone who understands that great pubs aren't built from the office, they're built on the floor, by creating relationships with guests, inspiring teams and becoming part of the local community.

We believe The Duke of Kent can be one of the most talked-about pubs in West London. To get there, we need a General Manager with the energy, presence and creativity to make that happen.

We're Looking For Someone Who Will

  • Be the face of the business and a visible presence at peak times
  • Build genuine connections within the local community
  • Create a culture of hospitality that guests remember and teams are proud to be part of
  • Champion a premium food and drink experience
  • Drive an exciting programme of events, experiences and local partnerships
  • Bring fresh ideas that give people reasons to visit beyond just lunch or dinner
  • Inspire the team to deliver consistently brilliant service
  • Take ownership of the pub's reputation and lead its growth journey

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Duke of Kent has all the tools needed to become a true destination venue. What it needs now is the right host, leader and community champion to put it firmly back on the map.

If you're motivated by building a reputation, growing a business, developing a team and becoming the heartbeat of a local community, this could be one of the most rewarding General Manager opportunities in the estate. We're not just looking for someone to run The Duke of Kent. We're looking for someone to lead its next chapter.
