Job Title: General Manager – Solar PV Installation Business

Location: Oxford/Oxfordshire

If you're ready to take full ownership of a growing business rather than simply manage part of one, this is an opportunity to make a genuine commercial impact. You'll lead a successful regional renewable energy operation, combining strategic leadership with hands-on operational excellence to deliver outstanding customer outcomes while driving sustainable growth.

This is a role for someone who enjoys making decisions, building high-performing teams and seeing projects through from initial enquiry to successful installation. Backed by an ambitious leadership team and established central support functions, you'll have the autonomy to shape regional success while benefiting from the resources of a rapidly expanding national group.

Why this role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll take full responsibility for the financial performance, operational delivery and long-term growth of your region. You'll have ownership of the P&L, lead a talented team and ensure every installation meets the highest standards of quality, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Operating within a fast-paced buy-and-build business, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling operations while maintaining the high standards that have built the company's reputation. Collaboration is at the heart of the culture, with experienced central teams providing support whenever it's needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
