General Manager / Transport Manager
Beeline Coaches Ltd – Warminster, Wiltshire

Beeline Coaches is a well-established and respected coach and bus operator providing school transport, local bus services, private hire, rail replacement, and contract work across Wiltshire and the surrounding counties.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated General Manager / Transport Manager to lead our Warminster operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their transport management career and play a key role in shaping the future of a growing business.
The Role
Reporting to the Directors, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the depot, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing the daily operation of the depot
- Leading, motivating, and supporting drivers, office, and engineering staff
- Ensuring compliance with Operator Licence and transport legislation
- Managing driver performance, attendance, and conduct
- Planning vehicle and driver resources
- Monitoring operational performance and implementing improvements
- Building strong relationships with customers, local authorities, and suppliers
- Supporting recruitment, training, and staff development
- Identifying opportunities to improve and grow the business

Should hold a PCV licence or be willing to train toward this qualification, as some driving will be required.
Requirement for on call, one week in four.
About You
You will be:
- A confident and approachable leader
- Organised with excellent planning skills
- Calm under pressure and able to make sound decisions
- Commercially aware with strong problem-solving ability
- Committed to excellent customer service
- Computer literate with good administrative skills
- Flexible and willing to participate in a management duty rota
Experience
Applicants should have experience in one or more of the following:
- Coach or bus operations
- Passenger transport
- Logistics or fleet management
- Transport planning
- Team leadership
A Passenger Transport Manager CPC is desirable but not essential. If you do not currently hold the qualification, you must be willing to work towards obtaining it with full company support.
