Description
Lord Wargrave – General Manager – Authentic Smokehouse, Whisky Bar & Neighbourhood Pub – Marylebone

Tucked away on Brendon Street in the heart of Marylebone, just a short stroll from Baker Street and Edgware Road, the Lord Wargrave is no ordinary London pub. Think authentic American-inspired BBQ, exceptional whisky, expertly crafted cocktails and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more.

We're serious about our food. Our meats are dry-rubbed and smoked in-house, low and slow over British hickory logs. From our signature St. Louis pork ribs and indulgent BBQ platters to our legendary smoked Sunday roasts, this is proper comfort food done exceptionally well. Behind the bar, you'll find an impressive collection of over 200 whiskies, alongside craft beers and carefully crafted cocktails.

Head upstairs and discover our hidden cocktail bar, a cosy, intimate space perfect for everything from date nights to private celebrations. With a fantastic central London location, a distinctive food and drink offering and plenty of personality, the Lord Wargrave is a real hidden gem.

Now we're after someone to take the reins...

You'll be the sort of person who...

  • Genuinely loves food and drink — you know your brisket from your burnt ends, and you've got a favourite whisky for every occasion.
  • Lives and breathes hospitality. A packed Sunday roast, a busy Friday night, a private party upstairs — you're grinning, not sweating.
  • Has great knowledge of the London food and drink scene. You know what's happening, who's doing it well and how to keep your pub ahead of the game.
  • Has run a busy site before and can prove it — happy team, tight numbers, glowing regulars.
  • Leads from the floor, not the office. Your team would follow you into a Bank Holiday weekend.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
