General Manager - Prospect Park Hospital, Reading
Vercity are currently recruiting for a General Manager at one of our flagship projects at Prospect Park Hospital, Reading.
This is, initially, a contract role with a permanent position available for the right candidate. As such, applicants available at short notice would be of particular interest.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Portfolio Director you will lead an experienced, and capable team and be the direct liaison between the Trust, the investor, the contractor and the hospital - it's staff, and patients. This senior role has full accountability for contract delivery, stakeholder management and financial performance, acting as the key interface between NHS partners, shareholders and service providers.
- Overall operational leadership of the SPV and hospital contract
- Senior stakeholder management across NHS, funders and partners
- Financial, contract and risk management
- Governance, compliance and performance oversight
- Driving service quality and continuous improvement

About You
- Proven experience in an SPV, PFI / PPP or complex outsourced contract environment
- Strong understanding of hospital or regulated service settings
- Commercially and financially astute
- Confident operating at Board and executive level
- UK-based with on-site presence required
