Be the person who makes it happen.

We’re looking for a brilliant General Manager to lead one of our Boston Tea Party cafés.

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to manage from the office. Our GMs are right at the heart of their cafés, leading from the floor, building brilliant teams, getting to know their regulars and creating the kind of place people genuinely want to work in and visit.

You’ll have the freedom to make your café your own, backed by a business that believes great hospitality starts with great people.

What you'll be doing

You’ll take ownership of the whole café: your people, your customers, your community and your numbers.

That means you’ll:

  • Build, lead and develop an incredible café team.
  • Create a culture where people feel valued, challenged and able to grow.
  • Deliver consistently brilliant hospitality, even when there’s a queue out the door.
  • Know your business inside out, from sales and labour to waste and profitability.
  • Recruit great people and develop the next generation of Boston leaders.
  • Make your café part of its local community, building relationships beyond our four walls.
  • Keep standards high across food, coffee, safety and everything in between.
  • Look for opportunities to grow your café rather than simply keeping it ticking over.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who we're looking for

You don't need to have worked at Boston before, but you do need to love hospitality and love leading people.

You might already be a General Manager, Restaurant Manager or Store Manager, or you could be a brilliant Assistant Manager who's ready for the next step.

More importantly, you'll be someone who:

Fuels Growth

You want to make things better. You develop people, understand your numbers and aren't afraid to set ambitious goals.

Leads Responsibly

You do the right thing, even when nobody's watching. You take ownership, set the standard and create an environment where your team can thrive.

Makes Connections

You know hospitality is about people. You build genuine relationships with your team, your customers and the community around your café.

What's in it for you?

We want Boston to be somewhere you can build a career, not just have a job.

Alongside your salary, you'll get a great package of Boston benefits, plenty of development and the support to become an even better leader.

You'll also get something increasingly rare in hospitality: a role built around daytime trading, without the late-night finishes.

And because we're an independent business, you'll have the space to bring your personality and ideas to your café. We don't want 22 identical GMs running 22 identical cafés. We want brilliant leaders creating brilliant Boston teams.

Good Eggs Only

We've been doing things a little differently since 1995.

We were the first coffee chain in the world to completely remove single-use takeaway cups. We care about the communities we're part of, the impact we have and, most importantly, the people who make Boston what it is.

So if you're ambitious, commercially switched-on, genuinely care about people and believe hospitality should feel human, we'd love to hear from you.

Come and run a café you can be proud of.
