General Manager – Urban Pubs, Bars & Restaurants – Multiple Brands – London

We're growing, and we're looking for brilliant General Managers to join us across our family of venues. From modern British pubs and destination neighbourhood locals, to the food-led world of Salt Yard and the high-energy competitive socialising experience of Bat & Ball, there are plenty of different businesses to get stuck into.

Each brand has its own personality, but the ambition is the same: great people, great food and drink, brilliant guest experiences and businesses that perform. We're after General Managers who want to take ownership, build teams and make a venue their own.

You'll Be The Sort Of Person Who…

  • Genuinely loves hospitality, you're as interested in the guest experience as you are in the numbers behind it.
  • Lives and breathes your venue. You know your regulars, your team, your local market and what makes your business tick.
  • Can lead a busy operation with confidence, whether that's a packed Saturday pub, a buzzing restaurant service or a high-energy night of competitive socialising.
  • Has strong food and drink knowledge and takes pride in the details, from seasonal small plates and great wine to craft beer, cocktails and a properly executed pub classic.
  • Leads from the floor, not the office. Your team see you, trust you and want to follow you.
  • Is commercial and entrepreneurial, spotting opportunities, controlling costs and always looking for ways to grow the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
