General Manager – The High Horse

We’re on the lookout for a motivated and passionate General Manager to lead the team at The High Horse.

As part of Dodo Pub Co, we’re known for top-notch burgers, authentic Neapolitan pizzas, and unbeatable vibes. At our core, we’re neighbourhood pubs serving products we’re 100% proud of—delivered by people who are 100% committed to what they do.

We offer a wide selection of craft beers, wines, and cocktails—served by knowledgeable and passionate staff to customers who care about quality and community.

We Serve

  • Authentic Neapolitan pizzas cooked at 450°C in our pizza oven

As GM of The High Horse, you’ll take full ownership of your pub as if it were your own. You’ll be accountable for its success, driving performance while inspiring your team to create an unforgettable experience for every guest.

  • Own your pub – take responsibility and pride in every detail
  • Lead from the front – motivate, support, and inspire your team
  • Build strong relationships – with your team, regulars, and the wider community
  • Stay calm under pressure – solve problems with confidence and positivity
  • Drive sales – create memorable events and initiatives that grow the business
  • Know your numbers – control costs, maximise revenue, and hit targets
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences – always with genuine care and attention

💰 What You’ll Get

  • £36,000 – £40,000 salary
  • Accommodation available
  • Bonus scheme (up to £48,000 OTE)
  • Service charge (100% goes to the team – typically £200–£250/month full-time)
