General Manager – Gilbanks, Premium Serviced Office Provider
Gilbanks is looking for a General Manager to lead our new Bristol site.
This is a key leadership role within Gilbanks, with responsibility for the overall operation, customer experience, team and commercial performance of the site.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Gilbanks at an important stage of its growth. As General Manager, you will play a central role in establishing the site, building a strong team, and delivering the standard of service that has earned Gilbanks a 100% customer satisfaction score across its sites.
You will take ownership of the site, ensuring that everything operates smoothly and professionally, from the presentation of the workspace and day-to-day facilities, to customer relationships, team performance and commercial results. This is a broad remit, and a genuine opportunity to make an impact from day one.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Team Leadership & Development – Lead, support and develop the site team, including staffing, absence management, performance, recruitment, onboarding and training.
- Customer Experience & Retention – Deliver an exceptional customer journey from onboarding through to offboarding, maintaining strong relationships, resolving complaints and driving customer satisfaction and retention.
- Site Operations & Standards – Take overall responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the site, ensuring consistently high standards of presentation, service and operational delivery.
- Facilities, Suppliers & Maintenance – Manage relationships with the Building Manager and suppliers, oversee maintenance and service issues, and ensure the building and site are maintained to the required standard.
- Helpdesk & Service Delivery – Own the site helpdesk, ensuring customer requests, issues, upgrades and service requirements are dealt with promptly, professionally and effectively.
- Health, Safety & Compliance – Maintain responsibility for Health & Safety within the site, ensuring appropriate training, documentation, reviews and compliance are maintained.
- Sales, Marketing & Community – Support the commercial performance of the site through viewings, renewals, additional revenue opportunities, customer events and community engagement.
- Projects & Continuous Improvement – Take ownership of site and company projects, identifying opportunities to improve processes, standards and the overall customer and team experience.
