An exciting opportunity to lead, grow and make a real difference

We are looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead one of our holiday parks and play a key role in the continued growth of our family-owned and run holiday park business.

This is much more than a traditional park management role.

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially minded and forward-thinking leader who can inspire an established team, deliver an outstanding experience for our guests and take genuine ownership of the performance of the park.

As General Manager, you will effectively run the park as your own business. You will have responsibility for its people, guest experience, operational standards and commercial performance, with the freedom and support to identify opportunities, make improvements and drive profitable growth.

Being family owned means we can make decisions quickly, listen to good ideas and give our managers the opportunity to have a real influence on the business.

The role

You will provide visible, hands-on leadership across all areas of the park, creating a culture where high standards, commercial awareness and excellent customer service become everyone's responsibility.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, motivating and developing an established team, creating a positive, high-performance culture.
  • Taking full ownership of the park's revenue, profitability and overall financial performance.
  • Delivering an excellent guest experience and ensuring consistently high standards throughout the customer journey.
  • Maintaining outstanding standards across accommodation, grounds, facilities, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage and leisure operations.
  • Developing and retaining talented people, ensuring managers and team members understand what is expected of them and are supported to succeed.
  • Managing payroll and other operating costs effectively without compromising the guest experience.
  • Setting clear objectives for departmental managers and holding the team accountable for delivery.
  • Using guest feedback, commercial information and operational data to continually improve the park.
  • Ensuring the park operates safely and complies with all relevant health & safety, licensing and company requirements.
  • Building strong relationships with owners, guests, suppliers and the local community.
  • Working closely with the Directors and wider senior management team, contributing ideas and sharing best practice across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
