General Manager – Sports & Entertainment Venue

London Victoria
Up to £55,000 + benefits

We're looking for an experienced General Manager to take the lead at a busy, established sports and entertainment venue in London Victoria, currently trading at c £30K/week. With a strong following for live sport, a healthy corporate customer base and consistent walk-in trade, this is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven hospitality leader who will thrive in a sporting and entertainment venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands on, highly visible, running the venue at peak trading times.
  • Drive revenue and SPH across drinks, food, activities, events, and group bookings.
  • Full P and L responsibility, meet GPs, and labor budgets.
  • Develop new business and maximize repeat bookings.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop your management team and front-line staff.
  • Plan effectively for major sporting fixtures, peak trading, and corporate events.
  • Maintain high standards across service, presentation, and guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous GM or senior management experience in a high-volume wet-led hospitality environment.
  • Experience working within sports bars, competitive socializing, or entertainment venues.
  • Strong commercial and sales experience, particularly around bookings and events.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and high standards.
  • Can commit to working 3 out of 4 Friday/Saturdays/month on a 5-day rota.

Benefits:

  • In addition to a basic salary of up to £55k, the position offers 33 days holiday per annum and a stakeholder pension plan.
