General Manager

Strike Padel, Bradford

Beckside Business Park, Bradford BD7 2BR | Full-time, Permanent

Lead Bradford’s Home of Padel. Grow the Club. Develop the Team.

About Strike Padel

Strike Padel is Bradford’s first indoor padel club. Founded by Bradford-born healthcare professionals, we set out to get our city moving, using the UK’s fastest-growing sport to bring people together and improve health and wellbeing.

In just over a year we’ve grown from 5 to 12 panoramic courts under a 9m roof, alongside a café with an onsite barista, a pro shop, a mezzanine viewing area over our show court, and a busy programme of coaching, leagues, tournaments, socials and corporate events. We’re an official partner of Bradford City AFC, and our second site at Weaverthorpe Retail Park is on the way.

About the Role

As General Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day running of the club and café and be responsible for how it performs: court occupancy, customer experience, team performance and standards across the venue.

You’ll lead an established team, including our Head Coach and Community Engagement & Facility Manager, and work closely with the directors to grow the business. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to shape a fast-growing club.

Why Join Strike Padel

  • Lead a 12-court venue at a key point in its growth
  • Inherit an established team, including a Head Coach and a Community Engagement & Facility Manager
  • Have real influence on how the club runs, from systems and standards to partnerships and social media
  • Join a business that’s expanding, with a second site on the way
  • Work in a venue built around community, health and the UK’s fastest-growing sport

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
