General Manager

Location: Botswana | Full-time | Relocation required

This is an on-site opportunity, based in Botswana. A relocation package is provided.

About the Opportunity

A growing betting and iGaming business is looking to appoint a General Manager to lead and develop its operation in Botswana.

The business is currently at an early stage of development, with a small local structure and a combination of retail, technology and external operational support. The successful candidate will play a key role in building the foundations of the operation, establishing processes and controls, and driving its growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone comfortable working in a developing business and being directly involved in both the strategic and day-to-day operational aspects of the market.

The Role

As General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the Botswana operation, combining operational leadership with commercial and business development responsibilities. You will manage the existing operation while building the structure, processes and capabilities required to scale the business across both retail and online iGaming channels.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
