The Opportunity
Located in the heart of London’s West End, Soho is one of the capital’s most vibrant and diverse neighbourhoods. Famous for its nightlife, hospitality, theatres, restaurants and longstanding LGBTQIA+ community, the area attracts a lively mix of Londoners, workers and visitors throughout the week. With Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square just minutes away, it’s a fast-paced, energetic place to work at the centre of London’s entertainment scene.
Rupert Street Bar is one of Soho’s longest-established and most recognisable LGBTQIA+ venues, located in the heart of London’s West End. Operating from one main bar with no food offer, the business is focused entirely on drinks, atmosphere and great service. Famous for its Soho Happy Hour, Rupert Street attracts a loyal customer base alongside strong passing trade, creating a lively, fast-paced and energetic atmosphere throughout the week.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You’ll have a proven track record of delivering green compliance alongside strong commercial results, with the ability to establish excellent operational standards within your first six weeks while maintaining and accelerating sales growth. Above all, we’re looking for someone who doesn’t simply manage a successful venue, but has the vision and drive to make it even more successful.
