Hotel General Manager - Luxury Country Boutique Hotel in Hampshire

Salary: Up to £95,000 + Bonus

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced hotelier to take the helm of a distinctive, high-end property where genuine hospitality, exceptional food and beverage, and a strong sense of place sit at the heart of the guest experience.

The hotel combines elegant accommodation with a substantial F&B operation, attracting both discerning leisure guests and a strong local following. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build on an established reputation while continuing to elevate the property, its people and its commercial performance.

As General Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance of the hotel, leading a passionate team and ensuring consistently exceptional standards across every aspect of the guest journey.

With F&B playing a particularly significant role in the business, you will be commercially astute and have a strong understanding of what it takes to operate and develop a successful restaurant and events operation alongside a luxury hotel.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
