Restaurant General Manager - New Store Opening - QSR

We’re growing quickly and building a restaurant brand that guests love and teams are proud to be part of. To help us do that, we’re looking for an experienced Restaurant General Manager who knows how to run a successful, high-volume operation—and make it a great place to work.

This is a role for someone who takes real ownership. You’ll lead your restaurant as if it were your own business, bringing together commercial performance, brilliant food, fast service and a motivated team.

You’ll understand the numbers, but you’ll also understand that great results start with great people. From developing future leaders to improving guest experience, you’ll set the standard and make sure your team has everything they need to succeed.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • You’ll have full accountability for the performance of your restaurant, including:
  • Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing team
  • Managing your restaurant’s P&L, sales, labour and food costs
  • Delivering consistently high standards across food quality, service, cleanliness and guest experience
  • Ensuring full compliance with HACCP, food safety, health and safety, and employment legislation
  • Recruiting great people and creating meaningful development and succession plans
  • Building effective rotas that meet business needs, team availability and labour budgets
  • Managing stock, ordering, inventory and waste
  • Reviewing performance data and turning insights into clear actions
  • Maintaining audit, operational and brand standards
  • Creating a positive, energetic culture where people enjoy coming to work
  • Staying calm, visible and decisive during the busiest periods

What we’re looking for

  • You’ll already have experience leading a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant as a General Manager or in a comparable senior role.
  • You’ll also bring:
  • A strong track record of growing sales and delivering against targets
  • Confidence managing budgets, P&L and controllable costs
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety, quality, cleanliness and operational compliance
  • Experience with labour scheduling, stock control and inventory systems
  • A people-first leadership style, with examples of building strong teams and developing future managers
  • The ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • High standards, commercial awareness and a genuine sense of ownership
  • The resilience and adaptability to lead through change
