Job Title & Overview
General Manager
Location: Boat House, Wallingford Salary Range: £45,000 – £50,000 + performance bonus + service charge
As General Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to build a thriving business from the ground up while developing your team and cultivating a welcoming environment for customers. From the moment you step through the door, you’ll set the tone by leading with a strong work ethic, ensuring shared experiences that delight both customers and staff.
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with your business development manager and management team to boost pub sales.
- Lead by example—drive brand values through your team to deliver outstanding experiences for guests.
- Develop and train your team, ensuring they have the skills to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Maintain high brand standards, prioritise customer and staff safety, and uphold strict regulations.
- Be aware that successful candidates will need either:
- A personal licence (or eligibility to acquire one).

- Hospitality
- Retail
- Fast-paced industries
