A leading organisation within the Facilities Management and infrastructure sector is seeking a General Manager in Bristol.

This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for the overall performance of a major healthcare PFI contract, requiring someone who understands the commercial, contractual and operational detail of this environment.


The Role

As The General Manager, You’ll

  • Take overall leadership responsibility for a complex healthcare PFI contract.
  • Manage contractual, commercial and operational performance.
  • Lead and develop the on-site management team.
  • Ensure contractual obligations, KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved.
  • Build strong relationships with senior client, Board and key stakeholder groups.
  • Identify and manage contractual risks, performance issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide clear reporting and assurance around contract performance.
  • Drive improvements across service delivery, compliance and commercial performance.
  • Provide visible leadership on site and create a high-performing, accountable team culture.

What To be successful, you’ll bring:

  • Strong PFI Experience – Essential.
  • Previous experience within a healthcare PFI environment.
  • Detailed understanding of complex PFI contracts and contractual obligations.
  • Strong commercial and operational leadership experience.
  • The ability to confidently engage with senior clients, Boards and stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong contract management capability.
  • Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams.
  • A track record of improving performance within complex contracts.

We would also consider an exceptional senior leader from within a healthcare PFI environment, such as a Commercial or Contract lead, who can demonstrate the capability to step into a General Manager position.
