Join Fuller’s: Where the true you thrives and diversity is embraced. At Fuller’s we don't just offer jobs, we invite you to celebrate your authentic self. Our four core values – doing things the right way, being part of the family, celebrating individuality and always asking what’s next? – define the essence of who we are.
We have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to build on the success of the beautiful Crystal Palace and maintain the excellent local reputation that Fuller’s has established.
This iconic premium pub is located near the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey, The Crystal Palace is one of the city’s true gems, and we want to continue to be famous for being exactly that. The perfect place to celebrate with family after a graduation, for a refreshing pint after an event at the Abbey, a must stop destination when visiting the Christmas markets, or just catching up with friends because it’s your local in the city.
The Crystal Palace attracts a varied customer base and is food led. The menu consists of a great selection of pub hero dishes as part of the Classic Menu Concept and has always relied heavily on excellent Signature dishes to create a more premium dining experience. They also serve the usual range of perfectly conditioned beers, ales, wines, and spirits. Rugby and the Christmas Markets are the core high volume events in Bath, but it is also a bustling and beautiful tourist location all year round.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
