General Manager - AI Bioinformatics

Remote UK or US East Coast | Executive Leadership | Healthtech & AI

The Opportunity

As General Manager, you will build and run the new AI business unit as a standalone commercial operation, with responsibility for its product and commercial performance.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will define the go-to-market strategy, establish the commercial model, build the team and take the product to enterprise customers across healthcare and life sciences.

This is a genuine zero-to-one leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on autonomy, strategic decision-making and building businesses in fast-moving markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the business unit's commercial strategy, product positioning, sales, marketing and pricing.
  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for a new enterprise AI product line.
  • Take full ownership of revenue targets, product adoption and commercial performance.
  • Build, recruit and lead the business unit team.
  • Establish the commercial operating structure, including pipeline management, forecasting and deal governance.
  • Work closely with product and engineering leadership to align development with customer and market demand.
  • Develop relationships with enterprise customers across healthcare and life sciences.
  • Report directly to the CEO on business unit performance, growth and strategic priorities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
