POSITION
The General Manager leads all aspects of the Jonas Club business unit in the United Kingdom, with full P&L ownership and accountability for growth, team performance, and customer outcomes. Reporting to the President of Jonas Software’s Club Division, this role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution. This is a build-and-scale role. The General Manager will lead the UK business through its next phase of growth, including bringing a new solution to market, securing the current customer base, building a focused local team, and establishing a repeatable go-to-market motion in the UK.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and oversee annual business plans, operating budgets, and long-range forecasts to consistently meet or exceed financial targets.
- Lead the UK go-to-market strategy, including sales execution, pipeline growth, customer retention, migration planning, pricing, and market expansion.
- Own UK product readiness through a dedicated Product Owner, who will report to the General Manager and lead the UK product team.
- Develop industry relationships and represent Jonas Club at UK conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and partner events.
- Build, coach, and retain a high-performing team; drive engagement and career development.
- Ensure operational efficiency across product implementation, customer support, and customer success.
- Maintain a collaborative, inclusive culture that attracts and retains talent.
- Ensure compliance with local legislation and Jonas policies.
- Work closely with marketing to develop and execute regional marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and pipeline growth.
- Manage CRM to track team performance across key metrics including pipeline growth and accuracy, new business conversion rates, and full software offering penetration.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
