The Opportunity

In this newly created role, you will lead our enterprise customer strategy, data, insights, and CRM capabilities. This role will establish a single trusted view of the customer, drive governance and standards across four brands, and shape customer-led growth through strategic influence and enterprise leadership.

What You'll Lead

  • Enterprise Customer Strategy: Define and drive SRG's unified Customer and Digital Strategy, ensuring customer priorities, investment decisions, and execution are aligned across the Group.
  • Customer Data & First-Party Data Strategy: Act as the enterprise steward of customer data, establishing governance, standards, and first-party data strategies that maximise customer value while ensuring compliance and trust.
  • Customer Insights & Voice of Customer: Lead SRG's customer insights capability, delivering actionable research, customer intelligence, and Voice of Customer programs to inform strategic decision-making.
  • CRM & Personalisation: Own the strategic direction of SRG's CRM and personalisation capabilities, enabling relevant, targeted, and effective customer engagement across all Brands.
  • Customer & Digital Capability: Establish enterprise frameworks, standards, and performance measures that strengthen digital capability and create a consistent approach to customer experience and outcomes.
  • Cross-Brand Leadership: Provide enterprise leadership on customer-related priorities and trade-offs, influencing executive decisions to deliver the best outcomes for customers and the Group.

What Success Looks Like…In This Role You Will

  • Create a single trusted view of the customer across the Group.
  • Improve customer advocacy and customer experience outcomes across all brands.
  • Generate measurable return on customer insight, CRM, and personalisation investments.
  • Establish market-leading customer intelligence and forecasting capability.
  • Deliver sustained growth in active members and spend per member.
  • Build scalable customer capability that grows ahead of headcount through automation, self-service, and AI.
  • Ensure customer data remains trusted, secure, and governed.

About You

You are a senior customer leader who combines strategic thinking with commercial delivery.

You Have Likely Led Customer Strategy, Insights, CRM, Loyalty, Personalisation, Customer Experience, or a Related Function Within a Large Consumer-facing Organisation And Understand How To Turn Customer Understanding Into Business Performance. You'll Bring

  • Extensive executive-level experience leading customer strategy, CRM, loyalty, insights, or customer experience functions.
  • Demonstrated success translating customer insight into enterprise strategy and investment decisions.
  • Strong understanding of customer economics, segmentation, lifecycle management, and first-party data strategy.
  • Experience leading customer data governance, privacy, and ethical data practices.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex organisational environments.
  • A track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and building organisational capability.
  • Strong commercial acumen and confidence operating at executive level.
