Job Description
Join a World of Moment Makers, become General Manager of Radisson Blu, London Stansted.
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven General Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume hotel environment and is excited by the opportunity to lead one of the UK’s largest airport hotels.
As General Manager of Radisson Blu, London Stansted Airport, you will lead a complex 500-room operation with a significant meetings and events offering, a diverse international guest profile and a strong mix of business, leisure, group and MICE demand.
Whilst combining strategic thinking with a highly visible, hands-on leadership style, you will ensure the hotel delivers exceptional guest experiences while achieving its commercial and operational objectives.
As General Manager, you will:
- Hold full P&L responsibility and ensure operational excellence across all areas of the hotel.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, empowerment and exceptional service.
- Uphold and enhance Radisson brand standards, ensuring memorable experiences for every guest.
- Act as a key liaison between the hotel, corporate teams and ownership.
- Drive business performance, implementing strategies that maximise revenue, profitability and long-term value.
- Champion innovation and create an environment where colleagues and guests feel welcomed, valued and inspired.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager or senior hotel leader within a substantial full-service hotel environment.
- Strong experience managing a large-scale operation, ideally within a hotel of comparable size, complexity or business mix.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering strong commercial and financial results, including responsibility for budgets, forecasting, revenue performance and profitability.
- Strong knowledge of Rooms, Food & Beverage, Meetings & Events and hotel operations, with the ability to understand how each area contributes to overall hotel performance.
- Significant experience in MICE, meetings and events or group business, with an understanding of the opportunities and challenges associated with a large conference operation.
- Experience working within an airport, city, conference or high-volume hotel environment would be highly advantageous.
- Experience of leading, motivating and developing large, diverse and multi-disciplinary teams, creating a positive and high-performing culture.
- A strong understanding of guest satisfaction, quality standards, brand compliance, health & safety, legislation and due diligence.
- Experience of driving change, continuous improvement and operational excellence within a large organisation.
