GENERAL MANAGER – ESG EDUCATION

UK | Hybrid / Remote | Working with the ESG Leadership Team
Salary: £32,500 per annum + performance bonus of up to £7,000

About ESG Education

Our Education division works with schools, academy trusts, and universities to develop leadership, character, personal effectiveness, and positive school cultures.

We are entering an exciting new phase of growth and are looking for an exceptional General Manager to take ownership of the division’s day-to-day performance and help build it into a scalable, commercially successful education business.

This is not simply an operations role. We are looking for someone who thinks like an owner — someone who can see opportunities, build relationships, lead people, improve systems, and turn strategy into results.

The Role

As General Manager, you will take responsibility for the operational, commercial, and strategic performance of ESG Education. Working from the UK, you will work closely with the Chairman and senior leadership team to:

  • Drive the growth of ESG Education
  • Develop and manage relationships with schools, trusts, and education partners
  • Build and manage the sales pipeline
  • Oversee programme delivery and customer experience
  • Lead marketing and business development activity
  • Develop scalable systems and processes
  • Manage performance against agreed KPIs
  • Identify new products, markets, and commercial opportunities
  • Build a high-performing education operation that can grow without unnecessary complexity

You will have significant autonomy and will be expected to take ownership rather than wait to be told what to do.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day running of ESG Education
  • Establish clear priorities, targets, and accountability
  • Improve operational systems and processes
  • Ensure programmes are delivered to a consistently high standard
  • Identify operational problems and solve them proactively

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
