Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead a high-quality Build to Rent community, delivering an outstanding resident experience while driving operational, financial, and compliance performance.
Acting as the face of the development, you'll oversee day-to-day operations, manage contractors and site services, build strong resident relationships, and ensure the highest standards across customer service, health & safety, and building presentation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys taking ownership. You'll have the autonomy to lead your site, influence resident satisfaction, and play a key role in the success of the community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operation and performance of a BTR community
- Deliver an exceptional resident experience and resolve issues effectively
- Manage on-site staff, contractors, and service partners
- Oversee health & safety, compliance, fire safety, maintenance, and security
- Manage budgets, control expenditure, and support financial performance
- Support leasing activity, resident retention, and community engagement
Your Requirements:
- Experience within BTR, residential, PBSA, hospitality, or a similar customer-focused environment
- Proven experience leading teams, contractors, and site operations
- Strong knowledge of health & safety, compliance, and building management
- Experience managing budgets and operational performance
- Excellent customer service, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Organised, proactive, and hands-on approach with strong decision-making skills
