I'm working with one of the UK's most exciting hospitality businesses who are looking for a General Manager to lead one of their high-performing restaurants.

This is a business that has built an incredibly loyal following and continues to grow at pace. They are looking for a leader who can create a brilliant culture, deliver consistently strong commercial results and inspire a team to perform at their best every day.

The Role

As General Manager, you'll have full responsibility for the performance of the restaurant, leading from the front and creating an environment where both your people and the business can thrive.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading, developing and inspiring a large management and restaurant team.
  • Driving sales, profitability and overall commercial performance.
  • Delivering exceptional guest experiences whilst never compromising on standards.
  • Creating a positive, high-energy culture where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
  • Managing labour, costs and P&L performance.
  • Recruiting, coaching and developing future leaders.
  • Ensuring the restaurant operates safely, efficiently and to the highest operational standards.
  • Taking ownership of the business, constantly looking for opportunities to improve performance and guest experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
