General Manager – Premium Asian Restaurant
Location: Knightsbridge

We are working with an exciting, founder-led hospitality business with a strong reputation for exceptional food, warm hospitality, and creating restaurants with real personality. With an established presence in the luxury hospitality and dining sector, the business has grown through a clear passion for what it does rather than following a traditional corporate model. It is a business with heart, where relationships matter, people are invested in, and the owners remain closely involved. We are now looking for an experienced General Manager to take the lead on one of their London restaurants. This is an opportunity for a GM who wants to be more than an operator. Someone who enjoys developing people, building relationships, improving businesses, and working closely with an owner who genuinely cares about the product and the people behind it.
The Role
As General Manager, you will take ownership of the restaurant's day-to-day operation, ensuring the team delivers an exceptional experience for every guest while maintaining strong commercial and operational performance. You will work closely with the owner and senior leadership team, acting as a trusted partner within the business and helping to shape the next stage of its growth. A big part of the role will be developing the people around you. We are looking for someone who naturally mentors others, spots potential, and enjoys helping managers and team members progress in their careers.

You will:
- Lead and inspire the restaurant team, creating a positive and supportive culture.
- Mentor and develop managers and emerging leaders within the business.
- Take ownership of the day-to-day operation and overall guest experience.
- Work closely with the owner on strategic and operational priorities.
- Build strong relationships with guests and create a loyal customer base.
- Maintain consistently high standards across food, service, and operations.
- Drive commercial performance and have a full understanding of the restaurant's P&L.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, standards, and profitability.
- Support recruitment, training, and succession planning.
- Bring structure and accountability while retaining the personality and warmth of the business.
- Work alongside an experienced leadership team and contribute to the wider development of the group.

This role would suit an experienced General Manager or strong senior Restaurant Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career.
