Company This is an outstanding opportunity to join a rapidly growing international business within the fragrance and beauty sector. With a strong portfolio of globally recognised brands, an established international footprint, and ambitious plans for future growth, the business is entering a pivotal stage in its evolution. The focus now is on accelerating international performance, unlocking new growth opportunities, and building a more diversified, profitable global operation.
Role The International General Manager is one of the most significant leadership appointments in the business. Reporting directly to the COO, you will lead a sizeable international operation spanning EMEA and Asia, with full responsibility for commercial performance, market strategy and long-term growth. This is not a traditional international sales role.
You will be responsible for shaping where the business plays, how it wins, and where it invests. From optimising existing distributor partnerships to identifying new channels, routes to market and growth opportunities, you will play a central role in defining the next phase of the company's international journey. Alongside ownership of a substantial P&L, you will lead an established team, build strategic partnerships and work cross-functionally to drive profitable, sustainable growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
