General Manager
I’m working on a brilliant new opening in London and looking for a General Manager to take the lead.
Opening this Winter, this is a completely new restaurant concept centered around an open grill, with around 70 covers and a much more elevated style of dining and service.
We’re looking for someone from a strong premium restaurant background who understands what great hospitality looks like, but importantly, someone who genuinely wants to get stuck into a new opening.
The Role
You’ll have full accountability for the restaurant, from commercial performance and P&L through to the guest journey, people and standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
- You’ll work closely with the Operations team and owners through the opening period, building the team, embedding the culture and getting the restaurant ready for launch.
- There will be a Restaurant Manager alongside you, as well as Duty Managers and Supervisors, with dedicated Reception and Guest Relations leadership also being recruited.
- This is very much a hands-on GM role. We need someone who is happy being on the floor, knows their guests, develops their team and isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up when needed.

What We’re Looking For
- You’ll already be operating at General Manager level within a premium restaurant environment, ideally with experience of a new opening.
- You don’t necessarily need to come from a huge restaurant group. The level of service, guest experience and quality of operation is far more important.
- You’ll be commercially strong, comfortable with full accountability and confident leading a busy restaurant, but equally passionate about the people and guest side of the business.
- Most importantly, you need to be excited by growth.
- There are further openings already planned, and for the right person there is a genuine opportunity to grow with the business beyond this restaurant.
