Role Responsibilities
The role of the General Manager Manufactured Joinery will involve:
- General Manager position responsible for managing the internal team, day-to-day manufacturing activities and driving sales across a bespoke joinery product range
- Oversee daily operations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
- Lead, support, and motivate production managers, team leaders, and site staff, ensuring strong team performance
- Plan and coordinate labor, materials, and equipment while monitoring budgets and performance
- Act as a main client contact, handling queries and resolving issues professionally
- Maintain systems, health & safety standards, and continuously improve processes and ways of working
- May be a requirement to visit site when needed

Ideal Applicant Requirements
The ideal applicant will be General Manager Manufactured Joinery with:
- Must have Management experience across the building supplies industry
- Ideal experience within merchant, trade, timber, joinery, or furniture environments
- Highly advantageous to have experience & understanding of manufacturing processes
- Open to a senior candidate looking to take the next step into a management position
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, driven, hungry, and ambitious
- Computer literate
