We are seeking an experienced General Manager- Operations Performance to support across our Wilde properties. This role will focus on supporting our General Managers to elevate the guest journey by leading a consistent brand-led Operation. This individual will work closely with our European Operations Director and Head of New Openings to optimise performance and ways of working across our established hotels portfolio, as well as supporting our pre-opening teams. Our General Manager – Operations Performance will work collaboratively with teams across the business including; Design and Refurbishments, Food & Beverage, Brand Operations, Sales and Revenue, Finance and the People team.

The ideal candidate will be Europe or UK based, with the flexibility and willingness to travel as required to our various Wilde properties across UK and Europe.

What you can do for us

  • Support underperforming or transitioning hotels by deploying as an interim or supplementary General Manager
  • Drive measurable improvement across guest experience, financial performance, compliance, and team capability
  • Act as a flexible operational resource, moving between properties as business needs dictate
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with multiple departments in different locations across our Wilde properties, fostering effective communication and teamwork across the organisation

Guest Experience

  • Drive improvement in guest satisfaction scores (review platforms, brand audits, NPS)
  • Identify root causes of service declines and implement sustainable fixes
  • Model and embed a guest-first culture across all departments

Financial Performance

  • Analyse P&L, identify cost and revenue opportunities, and implement corrective action plans
  • Monitor financial KPIs and improve performance

  • Ensure properties meet all legislative requirements including H&S, fire, food safety, and licensing

Team Development

  • Assess team capability quickly and prioritise training support
  • Coach existing managers to build lasting competence
  • Recruit or stabilise teams during periods of vacancy or high turnover

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven leadership experience and 5+ years in a similar general management role within a lifestyle/luxury hotel or aparthotel - this is essential for success in this role
  • Humble and approachable, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Forward-thinking and innovative, always looking for opportunities to improve operations
  • Energetic, flexible, and adaptable to changing circumstances- we move at pace!
  • Ability to adapt effectively and make decisions under pressure
  • Proficiency in engaging in strategic business discussions at a higher level
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenues through the strategic management of commercial initiatives
  • Demonstrable ability to motivate, appraise, support and challenge a team to deliver world-class results on every aspect of the business
  • Experience in providing training, guidance, and support teams
  • A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
