Hall & Woodhouse is the Dorset based brewer that owns over 150 high end pub restaurants and inns throughout the South of England. Founded in 1777 we are a family owned company that blends the best traditional values with a progressive and inclusive approach to business. We are recruiting a General Manager to lead our fabulous team in an amazing premium lakeside pub with rooms.
Lakeside Setting - Wonderful Wiremill
Part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of exceptional destination pubs with rooms, the Wiremill is a great fun place to work sitting beside a glorious lake nestled in the heart of the countryside. The converted 15th Century mill is the perfect setting to enjoy great food and drink and soak up fabulous hospitality for the day, or a well earned longer break. With a large lakeside terrace, the pub is a bustling window on nature in summer and the traditional interior provides a cosy bolt-hole to relax and unwind bringing in guests all year around.

What you'll need to be:
- An experienced GM with great leadership capability within branded hospitality
- Competent in kitchen oversight and the control of food production
- Comfortable with the extra challenges of a destination location with guest rooms
- Based in the local, area or planning to re-locate
- An expert in quality food and drink, with high attention to detail
- A strategic commercially minded operator with experience growing hospitality businesses
- Diligent with brand standards and processes
- Well-presented, analytical and proactive in problem-solving
- Able to commit for the long term
- Determined to develop and maintain outstanding hospitality for our guests
- A natural host who loves making people's day
- Flexible and resilient with a solutions-first mindset
