Ipswich, IP3 | Brand New Club
£35,000–£40,000 per annum | Full-time, Permanent

Be Part of Something Brand New

Love Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading fitness brand in the search for an ambitious Gym Manager to take the lead at a brand-new club in Ipswich.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fitness, leisure, hospitality, retail, or customer service manager to take ownership of a new site from the outset and help build a thriving club, high-performing team, and fantastic member community.

If you're passionate about fitness, love leading people, and have a strong commercial mindset, this could be the perfect next step.

The Opportunity

As Gym Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance of the club.

You'll be a hands-on leader, responsible for team management, membership sales, member experience, retention, and commercial performance, while ensuring the club is clean, safe, welcoming, and operating to the highest standards.

With this being a brand-new club, you'll have a genuine opportunity to make your mark — building the team, driving membership growth, establishing strong relationships within the local community, and creating a club that members love.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
