We’re delighted to be exclusively recruiting for a General Manager on behalf of a successful and growing immersive entertainment business. With a strong brand, a family feel and ambitious plans for growth, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the business at an exciting time. With a brand-new York site opening, incorporating a restaurant, bar and immersive games, you’ll have a genuine opportunity to put your stamp on the venue from day one.
This isn’t simply about keeping a venue running. You’ll be responsible for building the team, defining the culture, setting the standards, driving sales and creating an exceptional customer experience. You’ll bring energy, ideas and creativity to the role, while making sure best practice is embedded across every part of the operation. Most importantly, you’ll lead by example and create a team that is as passionate about the brand as you are.

The Role: As General Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the successful operation and commercial performance of the venue. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to bring the vision for the new site to life, while having the autonomy to develop ideas and drive the business forward.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing the Restaurant, Bar and Immersive Entertainment operation
- Recruiting and building the opening team
- Creating the venue culture and setting standards
- Leading, coaching and motivating your team
- Leading by example and delivering exceptional service
- Driving sales, revenue and profitability
- Managing the venue P&L, KPIs and performance
- Developing ideas to increase footfall and off-peak sales
- Embedding best practice across the venue
- Managing performance and developing your team
- Owning the overall customer experience
- Working with senior leadership on business growth
- Bringing new ideas and improvements to the venue

What We’re Looking For: This role will suit someone who genuinely loves what they do. You’ll have the energy, personality and commercial drive to take ownership of a venue and the passion to build something special.
You’ll ideally have management experience within hospitality, restaurants, bars, leisure or entertainment, and be comfortable leading a customer-facing operation in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll also bring:
- Proven experience managing hospitality, leisure or entertainment teams
- Restaurant, bar and/or leisure management experience
- Commercial awareness and P&L experience
- A track record of driving sales and performance
- Strong recruitment, coaching and team development skills
- A hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach
- Energy, enthusiasm and passion
- Creativity and plenty of ideas
- The ability to set and maintain high standards
- Excellent communication skills
- A genuine passion for the brand and customer experience
