General Manager – Shanghai Me Dubai
Shanghai Me Dubai, one of Dubai's leading luxury Pan-Asian dining destinations by Fundamental Hospitality, is seeking an experienced General Manager.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate and commercially driven hospitality professional to oversee one of the region's most renowned Pan-Asian concepts, delivering outstanding guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
- Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and front-of-house teams.
- Drive commercial performance through effective cost control, budgeting, and revenue optimisation.
- Ensure the highest standards of service, presentation, and operational execution are consistently maintained.
- Collaborate closely with the culinary leadership team to deliver a seamless and memorable dining experience.
- Recruit, train, and retain top hospitality talent.
- Monitor business performance through KPI analysis and strategic planning.
- Build strong relationships with guests while fostering a culture of excellence and luxury hospitality.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior operational leader within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong background in high-end dining concepts.
- Previous experience working within the Dubai hospitality market is essential.
- Previous experience managing luxury Pan-Asian, Japanese, Chinese, or Asian fusion concepts is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading large teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L performance, and operational KPIs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Calm, professional, and solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence.

Additional Information
- Candidates must currently be based in London and be open to relocating to Dubai.
- Previous experience working in Dubai is essential.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
