Slam Dunk are a leading name in the UK live music industry, focused on the genres of pop-punk, emo, punk, ska, hardcore, and metalcore.
The Role
Working on a significant project to develop our existing online retail offer slamdunk.world from a festival merch site to a year-round rock fashion brand in its own right.
It's a role for someone commercially sharp and creatively driven who can manage a fast-moving festival merchandise operation alongside the development of a longer-term retail operation with ambitions to scale internationally.
The successful candidate will be working with the support and resources of the wider Futuresound Group team to identify retail opportunities across the group as the role develops.
Responsibilities
Brand and Product Development
- Build and deliver the seasonal product roadmap across festival merchandise, evergreen clothing ranges, accessories, and music formats
- Originate range concepts and creative direction, briefing and managing third-party designers to bring them to life
- Identify and negotiate third-party brand partnerships, collaborations, and licensed product opportunities

E-commerce and Trading
- Run the day-to-day management and ongoing development of the Shopify store, including site experience, merchandising, product content, and conversion performance
- Use customer and sales data to inform range planning, buying decisions, and pricing
- Create a process for managing customer service enquiries using existing platforms
Supply Chain and Operations
- Manage relationships with merchandise suppliers, garment manufacturers, print partners, and fulfillment providers, negotiating terms and holding partners to quality and delivery standards
- Manage stock levels and ordering with suppliers

Live and Festival Retail
- Lead the merchandise operation at Slam Dunk Festival working with the festival operations team on delivery
Experience Required
Essential
- An understanding and experience of using E-Commerce platforms
- A track record of developing product ranges from concept to delivery, working with designers and manufacturers
- Experience managing supplier relationships at various levels of scale
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the alternative music scene and its audience
Desirable
- Apparel, streetwear, or fashion retail background, particularly in buying or product development
- Experience of live event or pop-up retail
- Experience managing third-party designers or artists
- Experience of music merchandise licensing or artist product
